Sometimes you need a physician who can handle the straightforward stuff — a upper respiratory infection, a UTI, a medication refill, a question about that nagging low back pain — without routing you through an insurance maze or a 30-day wait for your PCP. General telehealth at Järn Haus MD gives you access to a board-certified physician with thirty years of emergency medicine experience for the everyday medical issues that don't need an ER but shouldn't be ignored. The difference is that your visit isn't a five-minute transaction with a stranger reading a protocol. It's a real clinical encounter with a physician who knows your history, your medications, and your goals. What We Cover Common acute complaints — colds, sinus infections, bronchitis, allergies, skin issues, urinary symptoms, minor injuries. Ongoing management of straightforward conditions like prostate health, joint pain, or headaches. Medication refills and adjustments when clinically appropriate. Pre-travel health questions. And the things that fall between the cracks — the issues too minor for an ER visit but too important to ignore, especially when your regular doctor is three weeks out. What we don't cover in a general telehealth visit: anything that requires hands-on examination, imaging, or emergent intervention. How It Works General telehealth visits are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video. If you're a PERFORMANCE or CONCIERGE member, general telehealth is included in your membership — it's part of having a physician who handles the full picture, not just the specialty work. If you're not a member, general telehealth visits are available on a per-visit basis at $199. For most patients who anticipate needing more than one or two visits a year, membership is the better value — and it comes with everything else the practice offers.
