The Reload
Back under the bar — how to return to training after injury, surgery, or time off.
Service Description
The hardest part of any injury isn't the diagnosis. It's the six months after, when you're cleared to train but nobody tells you what that actually means — what loads are safe, what movements to reintroduce first, and when to push versus when to wait. The Reload is structured return-to-training guidance from a physician who understands what you're going back to. This isn't a generic physical therapy discharge sheet. It's a loading plan built around your specific injury, your surgical history if applicable, your current conditioning, and the demands of your sport. What this covers: progressive loading timelines, exercise substitution and modification during recovery, criteria for advancing intensity, red flags to monitor, and coordination with your physical therapist or surgeon when needed. If you're post-op, we work with your surgical team's restrictions and build a bridge from their discharge to your first real training session. The Reload also serves the athlete who hasn't been injured — they've just been away. Life happens. You take three months off, six months, a year. Coming back the way you left is how people get hurt. A structured reload based on where your body actually is, not where it was, is the difference between a successful return and a setback that costs you another three months. This is also where masters athletes find the most value. If you're over forty and the way you used to train isn't working anymore — more joint pain, slower recovery, nagging injuries that never fully resolve — The Reload isn't just about coming back from one event. It's about rebuilding how you train for the long term. Available as a standalone service or as part of your membership visits.

Cancellation Policy
Before You Book You must be physically located in a state where Järn Haus MD holds an active medical license at the time of your appointment. This is a legal requirement, not a preference. If you're unsure whether your state is covered, check our coverage map or contact us before scheduling. Cancellations & Rescheduling We ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Life happens — we get it. But late cancellations and no-shows hold a slot that another patient could have used. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a fee.
